The ABC hosted the GCBC for “The Inaugural State of Black Business, Community & Government” 2023 Georgia Summit sponsored by our partners at Truist on Monday, February 27th, 5pm at Truist Plaza, downtown Atlanta.

Attended experienced at very focused, informative, dynamic event. The presentation and dialogue provided key facts and statistics specific to Georgia’s Black population in the areas of business, community and government.

The Atrium at Truist Plaza was a fabulous space for food and great networking.

The Georgia Coalition of Black Chambers (GCBC) is a nonprofit organization led by the Atlanta Black Chambers, Greater Savannah Black Chamber, Greater Augusta Black Chamber, Northeast Georgia Black Chamber (Athens), River Valley Black Chamber (Columbus), Heart of Georgia Black Chamber (Telfair County), Southern Georgia Black Chambers (Valdosta), West Central Georgia Black Chamber (Newnan), Southwest Georgia Black Chamber (Albany)and the Central Georgia Coalition of Black Businesses (Macon). Each organization is focused on Business, Community, and Government initiatives dedicated to supporting the economic development and uplift of historically underserved sectors within the Twelve Regional Areas throughout the State of Georgia.

GCBC provides collaborative leadership and advocacy that gives way to transformational access, economic growth, and opportunities for the advancement of Black businesses, social enterprises, and non-profit industry associations throughout the state of Georgia.
